The Event: This is the 20th running of the Vestrum Women’s Fun Run & Walk offered by the Bunbury Runners Club Inc. & proudly sponsored by Major Sponsor: Vestrum Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
The course is around the scenic Leschenault Inlet & starts and finishes in Queens Gardens.
We aim to donate proceeds to our local beneficiaries– therefore we DO NOT offer REFUNDS for this Fun Run event.
The Geotech Superhero sprint: The Geotech Superhero sprint for 2 to 7 year old (girls and boys) a dash around the grassed area of Queens Gardens Starts 9am. All superheroes welcome - gold coin donations. Bonus event T included!
The Women’s Fun Run and Walk is a noncompetitive event aimed solely at encouraging women and young girls to lead a healthier,more active lifestyle. Female participants are encouraged to enjoy the event as a social experience meeting other women from the community. It is a way women can be active in a supportive group and motivated to achieve their personal goal.
The Women’s Fun Run and Walk is a key event in the Bunbury Runners Club calendar, it is organised annually by the female members of the club, for the women in our community. This event has been very successful since its inception in 2006 attracting a significant number of women who may not ordinarily have had the confidence to participate In run or walk events!
Training will commence Tuesday, 15 September at 5:15pm at the Recreation Ground (Bunbury Runners Club) 1 Ocean Drive, Bunbury.
Followed by these next dates.
15th, 22nd,29th Sept and 6th, 13th, 20th October.
You are also invited to attend the BRC run/walk which is held on Thursday nights. Please arrive at 5:45pm for announcements followed by 6pm Run start. Stay for a social drink afterwards to meet and chat with club members.
You may pickup your entry number on Saturday 24th October 9am – 12noon
